A few days ago I made it clear what my build was on "Oppo Confession" night. It was taking the drivetrain of this
and putting it into the body of
I'd love a RWD Honda Sedan some kind of badly but they refuse to give me what I desire so I must improvise.
I'm sure we all have had moments where we daydream about these things. Only stipulation is that your post must be somewhat realistic therefore flying cars don't qualify and if you know how to make one then start a GoFund me account so I may partake in the future of transportation. I also want a good share of the company for my belief in your dreams.
Without further ado let the games commence!

Frankly, I'm looking to build an el-camino with some sort of a diesel engine (maybe a BMW 6 cylinder?)And a manual transmission for hauling motorcycles around.

Honda/Acura K20A2 engine with a Comptech Supercharger dropped into an AW11 MR2.
or
Honda F20C Gen-2 engine and drivetrain from the S2000 dropped into an AE88.

So what you're saying is order for Toyota's to become better they need Honda transplants. Honestly that second idea sounds marvelous. I may possibly have to borrow it.

I judge not. That seems like a somewhat challenging build but you won't have to worry about space under the hood at least.

Pretty much, yeah. Honda can build amazing engines and transmissions. Toyota can make a damned good lightweight chassis when it wants to.

Try a Mercedes OM617. People swap that into all sorts of stuff. I'm putting one in my Cherokee! Plus, you can buy adapters to mate it to all sorts of transmissions, like Jeep AX-15 and AW4, Ford C4, T-5, etc. I bought my adapter junk from mercedesdiesel4x4.com

Oh, yeah... nowhere near there! I think most are around 125 hp and 180-ish ft-lbs. I know some wild Scandinavians have turned the wick way up on these, but that's probably gonna cost ya.
I bet in a few years you'll be able to pick up VM Motori V-6s for a reasonable price. Those are in Rams and Grand Cherokees today. I think they're around 300 hp?

I know the BMW motor is like 240 stock, intake and a tune would bring it to 300.
in either case, this is going to be FAR in the future
